I need some help out there in bloggy-land.
I am opening up a an online store at ETSY.com this week with the help of my sweet baboo, and I need a snappy name for my shop.
The name will be it’s online identity, as in name.etsy.com.
The basic premise of the store is this: handmade artworks (primarily pottery, but also drawings, prints… and whatever else comes out of my tiny little head) for everyday people, with half of the proceeds going to Compassion International.
Right now, the best name I can come up with is
MoCoffeeShop
…or perhaps some derivation of that. (MoCoffeesShop?)
But maybe something
Anyhoo, I thought I’d open up the floor for more suggestions. I’m hoping to open the store on Wednesday, so this is kind of short notice (sorry). Still, please let me know what you think.
Mo

SweetTeaArtworks (the southern, the sweetness? Hmmm.)
EverydayArtWorks (gleans from the everyday people thing, also capitalizes on how this art works for others (compassion, etc.)
PopeyeArtworks (eye popping, popular culturing)
ArtofPlenty
FillingBowlsArtShop
ArtfortheWorld
AceArts (Volleyball shop name? heh heh).

ohh- there’s some good one’s in there- I thought about the Sweet Tea thing- I really like Popeye (PopEyeArtworks? PopEyeArtShop?)
I don’t have anything that can top the list you’ve got already but I wanted to pop in and wish you the best of luck on your venture.
[...] As I mentioned here, Hubs and I are working on a little Etsy venture to support Compassion International. We were inspired by the recent bloggy tour of Uganda as well as our church’s ties to the Anglican Church in Rwanda. We hope to start this venture by sponsoring Compassion Children in Rwanda; and we’ll see where God takes it from there. Want to weigh in on the store’s name? Go here. [...]
I ran across your blog quite by chance and if I am following you correctly this etsy site will be geared toward sponsoring children?? If I got it right why not try “The ART of Compassion” Just throwing it out there!! Good luck and visit my spot on ETSY if you are in the neighborhood.
